Living abroad I’ve never been so proud of being French. I feel “Frenchness” should have a strong contribution in today’s world by the way French think (critically), pursue esthetics (rather than practically), eat (as a source of happiness) and do business (work to live rather than live to work). Somewhat a healthy and sustainable counter-power to the other-wise dominating anglo-saxon way of life!
As a healthcare executive I’ve been fortunate to live on 3 continents and travel 5 in the last 20 years meeting amazing people and eating in great restaurants around the globe.
I also had an entrepreneur stint building the France à Vivre group comprising three concepts of French dining and an innovative sous-vide gourmet line of products and boutique. This dream-turned-nightmare taught me a couple of lessons about life, business, food and restaurants!
I live in São Paulo with my lovely Brazilian wife and 4 wonderful boys.
